Lactation
Lactation

I am available to support you with your lactation questions and concerns. If your situation is beyond my scope of practice* I will refer you to a qualified IBCLC.

In order to witness some typical baby behaviour and at least one (hopefully more) feedings, my in-home visits are typically 2-3 hours. Because breastfeeding isn't just about feeding, I feel it is important to be there for more than just a single nursing session. (And yes, I can pick up lunch on my way there!)

We acknowledge that the land on which we live & gather is the ancestral and unceded territory of the Acjachemen (Juaneño), and Luiseño (Payómkawichum) peoples. These Indigenous nations have stewarded this land for countless generations, cultivating a profound connection to its mountains, valleys, and waterways.
